Accessibility Declaration
CAA is committed to ensuring accessibility of this web portal for a maximum number of users regardless of the used technologies and skills.
We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of this web portal by adhering to the existing standards and best practices.
We will adhere to the WCAG 2.0 standards and “Double-A” level of conformity to respond to the latest technologies and at the same time meet the requirements and criteria of accessibility’s level specified by the European Commission regarding the web pages of public administrations.
Web Accessibility Initiative
The accessibility standards that we aim to reach using best practices and techniques are level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
The WCAG documents explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Following these guidelines will help more people feel comfortable and take advantage of the Internet.
W3C Standards
The code of this web portal is compatible with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. The code is correctly reproduced in the current Internet browsers and the use of W3C standards is a guarantee for compatibility with new or upgraded versions of web browsers.
Exceptions
Although we try to ensure compatibility with the available standards of accessibility, sometimes it is not 100% possible. Because of the rapidly developing technologies (tools and techniques for development and Internet access) and web browsers some of the standard requirements for accessibility sometimes become redundant. With regard to the fast development of Internet technologies we continuously develop the web portal to achieve high standards of accessibility and usability of the website content.
